The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) has announced the appointment of several key leadership positions. This move by the DMA is aimed at serving the local diverse audience while positioning Dallas as a leading global arts destination.
Dr. Agustín Arteaga, The Eugene McDermott Director said in a press release that “As the art museum of the City of Dallas, we have made a commitment to provide a welcoming, equitable environment for everyone who visits.”
Brad Pritchett has been promoted to the position of Chief Experience Officer from Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. This promotion is aimed at centralizing all guest interactions under an Experience Department that includes Guest Services, all earned revenue channels, and all Marketing and Communications functions. The DMA was recently named the 2023 Dallas Voice Readers Choice for Best Museum and the 2022 Best Museum by D Magazine. Pritchett will work to build on that momentum.
Brad Pritchett is a marketing and communications professional who has worked with arts and nonprofit organizations for the past 20 years. He was recently appointed as the Dallas Museum of Art’s Chief Experience Officer.
A Multifaceted Leader in Marketing
Prior to this role, Pritchett led the marketing and communications efforts for the Dallas Theater Center and the American Heart Association. He also worked as an Arts Host and Contributor for WFAA Channel 8 and hosted his own LGBTQ podcast.
He has been featured in Culture Map as one of its top five fashion influencers and is one of the faces of Express for Men and the Dallas Mavericks. Additionally, he serves on the Advisory Board and was a former chairman of Black Tie Dinner Board of Directors. He was appointed to the DCEO Top 500 List in 2022.
