At present, Prime Video, available with an Amazon Prime subscription, costs $14.99 per month ($139 per year). For those without an Amazon Prime membership, a standalone video-only subscription is available for $9 per month. Upgrading to the ad-free tier will incur an additional $3 per month.

Is there a Prime Video free trial?
For new users or those who haven’t had Prime in the past 12 months, Amazon offers a 30-day free trial of its comprehensive Prime service. This trial includes benefits such as free 2-day shipping, access to Prime Music, and all Prime Video content with ads.
In addition to the standard free trial, college students can take advantage of an Amazon Prime student free trial, which extends the trial period to six months. After this period, students can opt to continue their subscription at a discounted rate.

Amazon provides various credit card options, but for the best value, the Prime Visa is the top choice. Once approved, users receive a $100 Amazon gift card as a sign-up bonus and earn 5% cash back on all Amazon purchases. If you spend at least $50 per month on Amazon, you’ll effectively offset the cost of an Amazon Prime membership in your first year.
After that, you’ll need to spend $200 per month on Amazon purchases to offset the cost of your membership. However, the Amazon Prime Credit Card has no annual fee, so you can continue shopping as usual, knowing that each purchase brings you closer to effectively earning your Amazon Prime membership for free.
