OASYX, an NFT firm, has partnered with Virtua Fighter co-creator Yu Suzuki to develop 1000 Virtua Fighter NFTs, according to VGC.
These NFTs, featuring 11 characters from the first three Virtua Fighter games, will serve as a basis for future Metaverse avatars and will be integrated into OASYX’s creative worlds to create a unique experience for both new and old Virtua Fighter fans.
Suzuki expressed excitement about combining blockchain-based NFT technology with three titles from the Virtua Fighter series to create new entertainment for gaming fans.
Square Enix recently revealed its first NFT game, Symbiogenesis, which will feature 10,000 character NFTs that may offer players access to a character’s unique story to provide clues for completing quests and missions.
The Pokemon Company is also looking to hire an NFT expert to lead partnerships with external developers and drive future business strategy.
